Giant Cupcakes

For a long time I've been a huge fan of Tracey Rapisardi's decorating. I adore her use of a soft, soothing color palette. So very cottagey. . . . When I recently was thumbing through a decorating magazine (sorry, can't remember which one now - I have too many) and saw this gigantic cupcake in a picture of a kitchen she'd done, I was smitten. I was even more excited when I discovered Tracey has an online shop and is selling this very cupcake! I think I better start saving my pennies. Now, if I could just figure out a way to make it fit into my modern, granite, stainless steel, dark cabinet, un-cottagey kitchen we've recently moved into. . . . Any ideas, anyone???

Hi Anita! I'm catching up on my visiting!! I just adore this quirky cupcake and think it would look outstanding in your "modern" kitchen!!! I actually think it is better suited to contemporary! So I say save those pennies and go for it! Thanks for the link to Tracey's; I must check that out! Have a great week - Sincerely, Jeannette

girl..paint, paint, and paint some more in your kitchen. You can combine granite and stainless steel into cottage style. You have mad skills at the whole decorating thing. So have faith, paint that kitchen, and save your pennies for the cupcake. :)
