We went camping at the beach for a night. It was a last-second decision, but fun!
Planning the sandcastle.
On the hunt for castle accessories.
Our cottage... Okay, it's not, but one can dream, right?
That cottage is adorable, I wish it was yours! I cannot wait to see how the sand castle turned out!
Those pics made me so homesick! I grew up in the Pacific Northwest (Eugene) and we always took our summer vacations on the Oregon Coast (Florence). Can't tell you how many sand castles I built over the years. Nice to see the next generation discovering such simple pleasures. Thanks for the walk down memory lane.
That looks like the fog we've been having here in California the last few days. I LOVE that cottage! I hope to be taking a vacation to Oregon, Washington and maybe B.C. next summer. I know I'm going to love it up there!
I have enjoyed your blog! We also just got back from the Pacific Coast camping but we were in Florence, Oregon. I LOVE your cupboard doors with the Dutch children on them! So sweet! Will be back to visit. cherry
Hi Anita: I wanted to let you know that I've tagged you-please see my blog. Also, what pretty beach house you have :)
What a great cottage...one can always dream!
Is this Pacific City? Another beach? God...I love Oregon beaches. Such great shots. It's almost better to me when it's NOT sunny...just overcast and "mysterious". Love finding your blog!!! Could you not eat that cottage with a spoon???? Adorable!!!!
Oh you make me want to pack up and drive the 5 hours to the ocean, 8 if I want to go to Seaside! The cottage is awesome! I will dream that it's mine too.teresa
Love the cottage...so charming!
I just had to stop by and tell you what a lovely blog you have! I have enjoyed all your posts and even more the wonderful photos of your beautiful family! Thanks for allowing me to share some of your fun!
oohh i want that cottage! gorgeous!!!jessi nagywww.scrappyjessi.blogspot.com
OH I just read that you never got your swap package from last May....That makes me so sad. What was wrong with her? You sent me such an awesome one. I have since only done the swaps on the blogs. For these, you are paired up, so you send and receive from the same person. This makes me angry that you didn't get one. This cottage on this post is adorable.
It looks dreamy to me..Love the dormer windows!
looks like the kids had fun and I would have dreamt about the cottage also...........
Ahhhh... Your blog is beautiful! We moved from WA in 2005 (lived just an hour south of Seattle). I miss it SO much. We dream of retiring there someday...
So pretty! Would have loved to have been there...I love "Your Cottage" by the way...so charming! It's similar to mine! (in my dreams)Priscilla
I am so enjoying your Blog! And I have to smile occasionally, we have almost identical pictures. Thanks for sharing! Jodi
